- SereneLife SLFTRD20 Smart Treadmill
- LifeSpan TR1200-DT3 – A Compact Under Desk Treadmill
Asuna by Sunny Health and Fitness is perhaps the best compact treadmill you can find on the market. The feedbacks are awesome and the features are great for the price and home gym. Although this isn’t the treadmill with nifty features and I won’t recommend it for very active individuals looking to burn more calories in a shorter time. You can checkout Nordictrack T series it’s a better option but not so compact.
This treadmill measures 59 x 30.5 x 40 inches which is sizable and will make a great choice if you have a very limited space, yet offers a running surface of 49Lx17.75W which I consider very cool for the dimensions. This of course makes it an ideal choice for most individuals. Although, I’d recommend 55 x 20 for individuals over 6.5ft tall who are looking to take a longer stride.
I also like the sturdiness and quality of this machine. The deck is cushioned to absolve shock and help reduce the impact on your joints. While the weight capacity is specified 220LBS which makes it ideal for individuals weighing up to 180LBS. It’s a good idea to give some space from the specified weight capacity, this will help reduce the load on the motor and elongate the life span of the machine.
Talking about the motor, surprisingly, this machine has a 2.5HP motor which is cool for heavy individuals and can go the extra mile. You can reach a top speed of 8mph with this treadmill. There’s also a 4″ LCD display that shows your calories, distance, and speed as well as an inbuilt speaker and device holder.
I think this can be your best bet if you’re looking for a compact treadmill that’s durable and within the budget.
The second on my list is the Xterra T150, this treadmill is more equipped than Asuna 8730G mentioned earlier, but takes a little more space which is why it’s second. However, this treadmill is one of the most compact treadmills I found and the quality is awesome at under $500.
This treadmill measures 63.4 x 28.75 x 51.4 when unfolded and 28.5 x 28.75 x 61 when folded which makes it very compact and easy to stash away when not in use. The running surface of 16 x 50 inches will be ideal for most individuals running or walking. The deck is also cushioned to reduce the impact on your joints and to help reduce injuries. I like the maximum speed of 10mph which will tick the box for most individuals looking to go a long mile in a shorter time. It also has a manual incline of 3, which isn’t so great but can help you achieve higher intensity.
The weight capacity specified 250lbs is ideal for individuals weighing up to 200-210lbs which is great for 2.25HP motor power. The console contains 5 inches LCD display that shows your heart rate, calories, steps, distance, and speed. You can hold the heart rate grips to check your heart rate, while it has 12 preset workouts to choose from.
You should check this treadmill out, it’s one the best rated on the market for a reason.
This treadmill from MaxKare can be a great addition to your home gym if you’re looking for a compact, yet a durable and sturdy machine that can go the extra mile. For the price below $500, it’s a great bargain when you consider the features and quality.
This treadmill is foldable and very compact, it has a dimension of 54.8L x 25.6W x 44.5H inches when not folded and 45.9L x 25.6W x 32.7H inches when folded and can easily be put away when not in use. The running path of 17W x 43L inches isn’t so great for very tall individuals who intend to sprint, while the motor speed of 2.0HP is quite low, but will serve just fine for individuals weighing up to 180LBS. This will reduce the load on the motor and help elongate its lifespan. The deck is made of rubber and is also cushioned to absolve shock and help reduce the impact on your joints. Another thing I like is the low noise and smooth functioning even at full capacity.
The maximum speed of 8.5mph isn’t so high but it should be okay if you intend to walk, jog or run. Add this to the 3° manual incline, which will help you burn more calories.
The console houses a slew of features that includes an LCD display that shows your heart rate, calories, speed, and distance. Moreover, its equipped with heart rate grips as well as 15 preloaded workouts.
SereneLife SLFTRD20 is another fine treadmill you should check-out. This treadmill is compact at 50.79L x 24.02W x 49.22H inches, yet it can be folded which makes it even more compact at 25.2 x 24.0 x 49.2 inches. Its also a low priced treadmill, yet great quality.
What I personally like about this treadmill is the sturdiness, compact design, and Bluetooth app sync feature that allows you to sync training stats to the Fitshow app on your phone. The features are not so great, but will make a great choice if you intend to walk and jog. I won’t recommend this for running as it has a somewhat small running path of 39.37 x 15.74 inches, while the 1HP motor power is also small for anyone weighing more than 180LBS. The speed at 6mph is small if you intend to sprint, while the 3 manual incline isn’t so high, but can certainly help you burn more calories.
I won’t recommend this machine for individuals above 6.4ft, the running path is quite small, and taking longer strides might leave you confined in a limited space.
The console houses an LCD display that shows your calories, speed, and distance. You can also hold the heart rate grips to get your pulse. You should checkout this treadmill, it can be a good deal for your home gym.
If you’re looking for a way to stay active while you walk, then LifeSpan TR1200-DT3 can be a perfect choice that can help you burn calories while carrying out a sedentary task, it’s one of the best under-desk treadmills you can find on the market. You may also like the under-desk ellipticals.
What I like about this treadmill is the compactness and quality design that results in a smooth training experience. You can set it up right under a stand-up desk. It features a 2.25HP motor which is good for long walks and for heavy individuals. The weight capacity is high at 350lbs which I’ll recommend for persons weighing up to 300lbs.
The walking surface of 20W x 50L inches makes it ideal for both average height and tall individuals, while the deck is cushioned to absolve shock as you walk or jog. You can also increase your training speed up to 4mph which will increase your intensity and help you burn more calories.
It comes with a small and compact console that can be comfortably placed on the desk that shows your speed, distance, weight, calories, and time.
Having a limited space shouldn’t prevent you from equipping your home gym with the right tools. There are many compact treadmills of great quality. Moreover, manufacturers understand this which is why even the high-end commercial treadmills are becoming relatively more compact than older models. You can check out the aforementioned treadmills, I’m convinced that they are some of the best you can find on the market, and are moderately priced too.
